Rooted in Learning. Growing for Good.
Sprout & Grow Collective is a non-profit dedicated to educating youth and families about sustainable living through hands-on curricula focused on producing fresh consumables. By constructing micro-farm communities and family garden installations, we improve local food access while teaching the next generation where their food comes from. From seasonal youth camps to backyard garden beds, we provide the tools, guidance, and community needed to grow a healthier, more sustainable future.
Our Team
Milena Bice
Founder & Executive DirectorWith 26 years of teaching experience and 20 years as the owner and director of Milestones Preschool, Milena Bice brings a wealth of educational leadership to Sprout & Grow Collective. As a current Garden Ranger with Enrich LA, she teaches outdoor garden classes across elementary and middle school campuses, bringing science, ecology, and nutrition to life for students.
Milena’s passion for gardening truly took root at home, where she first started growing as a way to deeply connect with her son. Seeing firsthand the transformative value, joy, and bonding that came from tending plants together, she realized every family deserved that same experience. Milena created Sprout & Grow Collective to expand that impact—empowering families to build their own backyard garden beds, learn sustainable living practices, and nurture lasting connections right in their own outdoor spaces.
